It seems as if Lara has been around for a long time but she is still in her mid 20’s – we all know about her from 2010 when she was the overall winner of BBC Young Musician. She is yet another success story from RCM. Lara has performed extensively across Europe and has a special family connection with Turkey. In 2015 she was voted “Woman of the Year Arts Award’ by Elele-Avon and the Turkish public.
Back in the 1830s and 40s, notably in Paris, there was much competition over the style of pianism with especial reference to Chopin the sensitive salon pianist and Liszt the iconoclastic rock star.
