Sarah Richmond studied at Queen’s, Belfast before joining RNCM where she has since gained
recognition in a number of competitions.

She enjoys the opera stage so we can hope for an exotic item or two. In the week prior to her Rhyl appearance she will sing the Mahler at the Oxford Singing Festival.

Louis Hurst has been involved in Manchester music since his days at Manchester Grammar and he is actively involved in church music. English song is his particular interest but this has not prevented him from operatic roles as a lion and as God.

Ewan Gilford specialises in piano accompaniment, a rôle which is increasingly being recognised as vital to an all-round musical performance.

Their programme included:

  • Mahler Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen
  • Strauss (a selection of)
  • Brahms Vier duette op. 28
