Ellis Thomas wins Gregynog Young Musician 2019 prize

Congratulaions! In April, Ellis Thomas won the coveted Young Musician prize at Gregynog Hall in Powys, the most prestigious event of its kind in Wales. The club is already familiar with Ellis’s musical progress ever since his early performances in our Young Musicians Concerts for which he received the Muriel Lewis Award. Last season he gave his first full recital in Rhyl, having won the Rotary International Young Musician award the previous year, and to complete his successes before starting at Cambridge University this October he won the Blue Riband for his age group at the National Eisteddfod in Llanrwst this summer.
