Berkeley Ensemble Octet

This Ensemble was formed in 2008 by a group of musicians who met as members of the Southbank Sinfonia.

Their ascent since then has been rapid and they are chosen artists for Making Music.

An octet is not a common assemblage for most music clubs so we are indeed fortunate to have such a respected group to bring our
winter season to a close.

They intend to play the famous Schubert Octet which will be known to many but will we all know the Howard Ferguson Octet?
