At present Anthony works at Stetson University in Florida and I have yet to establish what would make him return to the UK in December when he could be enjoying the sunshine state. Anyway, his return to North Wales is our gain.

As part of our commitment to young musicians we ensure that they are provided with opportunities to develop their careers with our support and David Shaw has been and will continue to be a regular visitor to the club.

Our opening concert of the season sees a welcome return of
the Welsh Chamber Orchestra with its Conductor, Anthony
Hose.

This ensemble played for us last year with about 18
musicians and this is sufficient to fill the Town Hall with
glorious sound.

Jeremy Huw Williams proved an outstanding
singer in 2009 and for 2010 we are to be treated to music
performed by the young Double Bass player from Spain,
Rodrigo Moro Martin.

Their Conductor, Anthony Hose, is a highly regarded musician
in the UK and his main work has now taken him to the USA
but we are delighted that he returns in the summer and that
we can benefit from his expertise.
